Cynthia Bailey Not Married, Reveals Wedding Video She Posted On V-Day Was Promotional Ad For Car Company

Some fans of model and reality TV personality Cynthia Bailey may be left feeling as though they’ve been pranked.

After the Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted an Instagram video on Valentine’s Day of her clothed in a gorgeous wedding gown and flashing her usual stunning smile, many were convinced that it was her marriage announcement.

Cynthia Bailey’s fans know that she is no stranger to getting hitched, as the reality TV star has been down that road twice before. She was first married to restaurateur Peter Thomas in 2010. They divorced in 2017. Cynthia Bailey remarried in 2020 to Fox Sports correspondent Mike Hill and that marriage concluded in 2022. It’s also important to note that she previously dated actor Leon Robinson and they share one child.

So when Bailey made the Valentine’s Day post on Instagram, it’s no wonder her fans concluded that the actress and model was perhaps giving marriage yet another try.

One person on Instagram wrote,

“Quiet as it’s kept, this marriage will probably be HER true marriage. It wasn’t televised. She wasn’t in the news about it. She didn’t even show y’all his face. lol. She said “Nope, we’re doing this RIGHT this time”. Congrats Cynthia!”

When Bailey initially posted the romantic video which was accompanied by audio of Luther Vandross’ song, “So Amazing,” all her followers saw was the model dressed in white alongside a man whose face was not revealed but who appeared to be her groom. In the caption, she simply wrote,

“every day i love you more.”

However, after seeing all of the shocked and excited congratulatory messages left in the comment section, Bailey decided to repost the video. This time, providing more clarity. For the repost, Bailey shared a longer version, which seemed to include a promotional message toward the end. As the video concludes, Bailey can be heard saying,

“Life is full of surprises, but this is not one of them! I’m not getting married, but if you are, make sure you reach out to ATL Exotic and Luxury Cars for your perfect getaway car!”

She continued,

“Get 15% off when you use the discount code, “Cynthia.” Congratulations!”

In the caption of Bailey’s second post of the wedding video, she wrote,

“thanks for all of the love! watch until the end.”

Bailey’s Instagram followers had much to say in response to the model’s clarification. One person stated,

“See how people jump to conclusions and make it Breaking News. This should have been a Superbowl commercial”

Someone else wrote,

“Girl you had everybody shook!!”
