Martha Stewart Admits She Doesn’t Wear Underwear: ‘I Don’t Wear Any Of That Structured Stuff…I Only Wear Eres Bathing Suits Under My Clothes’

Martha Stewart doesn’t like to wear underwear.

While talking to Page Six, the TV personality said she only wears swimsuits under her clothes.

“I like bathing suits. I like wearing bathing suits under my clothes just in case I want to go swimming.”

Martha Stewart further explained that she prefers Eres swimsuits over Kim Kardashian‘s shapewear line.  

“Bathing suits are my underwear. I don’t wear any of that structured stuff. No tight lace, no Skims for Martha. But I love Skims. I think they serve a very good purpose — but I don’t wear those. I only wear Eres bathing suits under my clothes.”

Though the celebrity chef first wondered if Skims founder Kim Kardashian would be upset about her choice of undergarments, she quickly decided,

“No, she won’t be mad at me. She knows I don’t wear Skims.”

Martha Stewart has always had a thing for swimsuits. The lifestyle icon, 82, became the oldest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model in 2023. In an interview with the magazine, the author said she wanted to uplift other women with her Swimsuit Issue cover. She shared, 

“Usually I’m motivated by pay. But this time I was motivated by showing people that a woman my age could still look good, feel good, be good.”

Stewart added, 

“I don’t think about age very much but I thought that this is kind of historic, and I better look really good because I want other women to feel that they could also be on the cover of Sports Illustrated.”
