Adele Postpones Las Vegas Residency Due To Health Issues: ‘Doctors’ Orders, I Have No Choice’
Adele will not be hitting the stage for her “Weekends with Adele” Las Vegas residency next month.
The 16-time Grammy winner said she has been forced to postpone the anticipated dates due to health issues.
She shared the news with fans on Monday (Feb. 28) and wrote,
“Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break.”

She continued,
“I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before the shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately it’s all taken a toll on my voice. And so on Doctors orders I have no choice but to rest thoroughly.”
She listed the dates for March that are rescheduled, and said they are now “postponed to a later date,” adding,
“We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap.”
In the caption, she told fans,
“I love you, I’ll miss you like mad and I’m sorry for the inconvenience x”

Adele began her residency in 2022, after a delayed start amid the Covid-19 pandemic. She tearfully announced at the time that shows would be postponed, stating in an Instagram video in January 2022:
“I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time and for it be good enough for you. But we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID.”

She ultimately kicked off her residency in an emotional performance in November 2022.
Feel better, Adele!
