Drake Bell To Detail Sexual Abuse He Allegedly Suffered By Former Nickelodeon Dialogue Coach Brian Peck In New Docuseries

Drake Bell is exposing the trauma and abuse he endured as a child actor on Nickelodeon.

In a new trailer for the upcoming Investigation Discovery series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Sides of Kids TV,” the 37-year-old revealed Nickelodeon Dialogue Coach Brian Peck sexually abused him while working for the network in the early 2000s.

The video featured the former Nickelodeon star for a few seconds toward the end of the trailer, which highlighted fellow network stars such as former All That star Giovonnie Samuels.

Brian Peck served as a dialogue coach at Nickelodeon for two shows Drake Bell starred in from 1999-2002, “All That” and “The Amanda Show.”

Bell later received his own series with the network and starred in “Drake & Josh” from 2004 to 2007.

Peck was accused of molesting a child in 2003 and later charged with eight counts of sexual abuse. He was convicted of a lewd act against a child and oral copulation of a person under the age of 16 and spent 16 months in prison. Peck was also required to register as a sex offender in October 2004.

The allegations surrounding Peck resurfaced after the cast of Boy Meets World discussed their relationship with him in a recent episode of their podcast, Pod Meets World, last month.

Former “Boy Meets World” actors Rider Strong and Will Friedle talked about working with Peck on the sitcom and the mistake of supporting him throughout his trial.

Will Friedle claimed Peck had asked for their support and told a version of the story that made it sound like he was innocent. However, in court, Will Friedle quickly realized he was on the wrong side.

“I just sat there wanting to die. It was like, ‘What the hell am I doing here?’ It was horrifying all the way around.”

Meanwhile, Bell has had some legal trouble over the years. In 2021, a jury convicted him of child endangerment for an improper relationship he allegedly had with a then-15-year-old.

The former actor also briefly went missing last year, and his family called the police over concerns that he was going to commit suicide.
