Mo’Nique’s Son, Shalon Jackson, Speaks Out After Comedian Makes “F*ck That N*gga” Joke Referring To Him: ‘What If I Would’ve Went In My Car And Blew My F*cking Brains Out?’

According to Mo’Nique, the joke was made in response to TikTok videos posted by Shalon Jackson, in which he eloquently explained the issues with their relationship.
Jackson responded to Mo’Nique’s joke in the interview and said,
“You told the world that I was a n*gga and f*ck him.”
He later added,
“You post text messages, right? Then, you go on a stage and call me a n*gga and say f*ck me. What if I would’ve went in my car and blew my f*cking brains out?”

Jackson revealed he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia but “without the delusional symptoms.” Per the National Institute of Mental Health, bipolar disorder is a mental illness that causes unusual shifts in a person’s mood, energy, activity levels, and concentration. As for Schizophrenia, it’s a serious mental illness that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. People with Schizophrenia may seem like they have lost touch with reality, which can be distressing for them and their family and friends.
On the podcast, Jackson also mentioned how everyone now knows about his mental health because of the long-time actress exposing their private text messages.
“I had no choice but to lean into mental health because you took that from me. You just told the world that I’m having a mental episode. Well, sh*t, I’m not dumb, so now let me play the game. So you right, I do have mental health, and they say the stereotype of a black man on mental health. They say he loud, and he’s all these things.”
He then referred to the TikTok videos he made during his and Mo’Nique’s recent online dispute, in which he said he didn’t use profanity or talk down about the Precious star.
The back-and-forth between the mother and son started after the Oscar-winning actress appeared on the Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe.
In the viral nearly three-hour episode, she asserted that she must “let time do that healing,” believing she has done her part in attempting to mend her and Jackson’s relationship.
In a detailed video on TikTok, Jackson responded,
“I would like to free her from having to continue telling that lie.”
He continued,
“Faith without work is dead, and neither one of us cares to put forth any effort to reconcile with the other. We are separate, as she put it, because she doesn’t care to be my mother any more than I care to be her son.”
To seemingly defend her parenting decisions, Mo’Nique exposed her and Jackson’s messages, dated between January 2021 and October of the same year. The messages highlight intimate conversations, as well as details of financial assistance provided to Jackson by her and her husband, Sidney Hicks.
For the caption, she wrote,
“HEY MY SWEET BABIES HERE ARE THE RECEIPTS FROM A MOTHER WHO ALLEGEDLY DOES NOT LOVE HER SON WE ARE SHARING THIS WITH YOU SHALON & THE COMMUNITY! SOME WILL COMPLETELY GET IT OTHERS WON’T WE LOVE US 4REAL”
Mo’Nique and husband, Sidney Hicks, also shared a video addressing Jackson. In the clip, they shared more context of the text correspondence.
