Lil Uzi Vert & JT Spark Break-Up Rumors After Unfollowing Each Other & Removing Several Pictures From Social Media

It looks like another celebrity couple may have called it quits.

Musicians Lil Uzi Vert and JT of City Girls are speculated to have broken up recently after seemingly distancing themselves from one another online.

One report states that the duo, real names Symere Woods and Jatavia Johnson, seem to have ended things, which is indicated by the removal of some of their pictures together and no longer following each other on social media. While Lil Uzi Vert, 28, has cleared his Instagram page of all posts except one of himself and is now following zero people, JT, 30, has kept many of her images and following, though she no longer follows Uzi’s page.

Additionally, the rapper once again adjusted the name in her bio. As we covered earlier this month, the two were speculated to have secretly tied the knot after JT changed her last name to match her boo’s. Amid break-up rumors, however, it seems she’s changed it back.

It’s also important to note that not all posts pertaining to Uzi have been removed from the Miami native’s feed. JT kept up a post she made celebrating the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper’s “Pink Tape” album, which was released earlier this year. Additionally, the music star also kept a couple of photos of her and her possibly estranged beau from their BET appearance in June.

Uzi and JT have been dating publicly since 2021 and have expressed their deep love for one another on multiple occasions. Recently, however, Uzi did share that they are going through a tough time emotionally and want to focus on their music. In a series of posts, they wrote:

“Life is becoming so different. Hopefully for the better. This time I won’t stop my journey to happiness or being one of the greatest musicians ever. My last album will definitely help you remember who is the one. Thank you…”

Adding:

“The most attention I could get is by dropping music …. I understand y’all don’t believe me But it starts with me 2 show you that I’m actually serious I’m very stressed out and done with so many voice’s controlling my life it’s like I never lived for me I would give up all the money and perks that this comes with 2 live a perfectly normal life I’m okay with it ….”

Speaking directly on their relationship with JT, they followed up with:

“Why not stop now because business doesn’t work like that I have one more album 2 turn in after that I finally can genuinely smile…I’ve been getting Judged from day 1 I never respond 2 negativity I have a talented but I also have a heart and have been holding in alot …Im not as close to my family as I should be. My relationship isn’t in the best shape I JUST WANNA BREATHE.” 

Neither have spoken about the break-up rumors publicly at this time.
