Marlon Wayans Allegedly Fathered 1-Year-Old Child Whose Mother Is Now Suing For Child Support
Actor Marlon Wayans was named in a paternity suit recently after allegedly welcoming a daughter in secret.
According to a report from Radar Online the woman who filed the suit, Brittany Moreland, claims the actor is the father of her 1-year-old daughter and wants him to help with expenses for her care.

Reportedly, Brittany Moreland, 34, petitioned the court for a paternity test to establish Marlon Wayans, 51, as her child’s father. In the documents, Moreland writes that she’s spent a significant amount on the birth and care of her child, Axl July Ivory Wayans, and wants the Scary Movie star to be held financially responsible for her legal fees as well as “reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth.”

In her report, Moreland claims Wayans makes a monthly income of around $200,000 while she only brings in $21,000, adding that she’s sure he’s financially able to pay child support. Listing her regular child-care expenses, Moreland alleges she spends around $5,000 monthly for rent and $9,000 on care, groceries, and other necessities. At this time, it does not appear that Wayans has responded to the suit in court.

Thus far, the comedic actor has been fairly quiet about his alleged relationship and child with Moreland, which is much different than the way he presents his adult sons Kai and Shawn. Reportedly, Wayans often includes material about his children in his comedy work, and is currently planning a special that details Kai’s transition from female to male and how he as a parent went from “ignorance and denial to complete unconditional love and acceptance.” Previously speaking on the special, he reportedly stated:
“I think there’s a lot of parents out there who need to have that message, and I know I’m dealing with it…[it’s been] a very painful situation for me, but it’s one of the best, funniest hours [of comedy] I could ever imagine.”

However, Wayans has pretty much been mute about his alleged affair with Moreland. It is noted that around the end of her pregnancy, the new mom shared photos from a maternity shoot with the child’s father. Though she never showed his face directly nor tagged anyone in the post, one report notes that friends of Moreland in the comment section claimed the man in the pictures is indeed Wayans.
