EXCLUSIVE: Nicki Minaj Allegedly Partnering w/ Black-Owned Shoe Brand LØCI For New Collection

Rap star Nicki Minaj is about to step into her fashion bag.

theJasmineBrand exclusively reports that the hip-hop icon allegedly inked a sneaker deal with shoe company LØCI and is gearing up to release a collab with the apparel brand.

In case you’re unfamiliar, LØCI is an independent shoe and apparel company founded in 2019 by Frank Eribo and Philippe Homsy. The brand prides itself on creating quality urban-lux products that are 100% vegan and has held some notable collaborations with celebrities such as Ben Affleck, Dwayne ‘The Rock ‘ Johnson, and Alicia Keys. Its website notes:

“LØCI is an urban-lux vegan sneaker and apparel brand for men and women. We strive to continually invest in next-gen materials from recycled ocean plastic to our latest introduction of bio leather, all 100% animal-free. We strive to ensure that every step we take – from the materials we use to our manufacturing practices, all the way to the way we treat our team & every customer – reflects our commitment towards better practices.”

Along with custom sneakers, LØCI sells a variety of T-shirts and hoodies for men and women, with prices ranging from $65 – $150 for apparel items, and $170 – $200 for footwear. In the three years since the business opened, it’s been met with a ton of praise for its focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly products, certainly making its mark as a business to watch.

As for Minaj’s part in the collaboration, the musician is no rookie to fashion or creating products her fan base will love. While she has yet to debut a full sneaker collab, the “Everybody” rapper caused the Crocs website to crash back in 2021 after posting a picture of her bare body donning nothing but the popular shoes.

Fans at the time rushed to the website under the impression that Minaj had followed the footsteps of other Croc collaborators such as Justin Bieber and Bad Bunny, and was preparing to release her own line with the brand. Although it doesn’t appear that the Minaj x Croc partnership ever came to fruition, it seems fans will be getting a fashion treat from their favorite rapper soon.

More details about the collaboration will allegedly be announced in April. No other information has been shared at this time.
