Black girl magic is running rampant in the newly released “Be You” music video starring T.I. and Tiny’s youngest daughter Heiress Harris.

The soon-to-be 8-year-old provided vocals on the track, which also stars child rapper and internet sensation Van Van.

In the self-affirming song, the young stars encourage people to dust off their haters and remain true to themselves. The music video, posted to YouTube on Friday (March 22), boasts a directing credit from hip-hop icon MC Lyte and has already garnered over 22,000 views as of publication.

Savanah ‘Van Van’ McConneaughey’s latest single comes nearly a year after the 5-year-old rose to fame for her internet raps. If you recall, the young artist went viral back in June of 2023 after her dad Reggie McConneaughey played hype man in oneĀ of her most famous videos where she raps:

“My name is Van Van / ain’t got time to play / playing outside everyday”

The video garnered widespread attention for the young star and caught the eye of T.I., Tiny, and their baby girl Heiress. Tiny shared behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot to her Instagram page celebrating the video’s release, writing the caption:

“Wanna thank all the amazing kids & their parents for letting them come be apart of @therealvanvan_ & @heiressdharris video “Be You” we had so much fun!! Make sure u download /stream this good listening music for your kids!!”

It seems the song is already growing in popularity, not just among kids but adults as well. Many social media users took to Tiny’s comment section expressing how impressed they were with the performance. Others remarked on how adorable the video was and celebrated its positive and “child-appropriate” message.
