Chicago Rapper Bandman Kevo Appears To Offer Money In Exchange For Answers Regarding The Death Of His Teenage Son

Bandman Kevo is seeking answers surrounding the death of his teenage son.

The Chicago rapper announced the loss via his Instagram Stories on Sunday (March 31), sharing a photo of his son, Kevian, with the caption “Rest In Power.”

The 34-year-old also said he could not “get a hold” of his son’s mom. He also told The Shade Room that he doesn’t know how his son died as he’s heard conflicting stories. Though it hasn’t been confirmed yet, according to reports, Bandman Kevo’s son was reportedly shot and killed in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Bandman Kevo asked if anyone in that city, 

“know anything about my son death dm [direct message] me now”

The post also featured a money bag emoji, seemingly suggesting he was offering money in exchange for answers.

Kevo also shared the news of his son’s death on X. Followed by a couple of angel emojis, he wrote, 

“Rip Kevian” 

Several fans offered their condolences in response.

Meanwhile, other fans questioned the way Kevo is grieving.

One X user wrote, 

“Bandman Kevo son got killed n he posted him & said “rest in power” then posted a pic of a watch immediately after. Man wtf lmao.”

Another user posted,

“That bandman kevo n*gga posted a watch after posting his son just dying, that n*gga dnt give one f*ck. Rich as sh*t, kid still living in the hood smh.”

At this time, details are limited surrounding Kevo’s son’s death. Kevian was reportedly 15 years old at the time of his passing.

Kevo, born Kevin Ford, is a musical artist. He released his first single, ‘How We Do It,’ in 2012. He has since released several other singles, including “Who Is Dat,” “Baller in Me,” and “All Foreign.” 

Kevo is also a social media influencer who teaches fans how to repair their credit, earn passive income, and create wealth.
