Wendy Osefo’s Maryland Home Was Robbed While She Was On Vacation In Jamaica: ‘My Family & I Are Devastated & Feel Violated’
Wendy Osefo‘s vacation ended on a terrifying note as she learned her home was burglarized.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star, 39, along with her husband and their three children were in Jamaica when thieves broke into their Finkland, Md., home, getting away with several name-brand items like Birkin bags and Wendy Osefo’s jewelry.
She said of the burglary,
“My family and I are devastated and feel violated by this intrusion. We thank God no one was home … so for that we feel very blessed. Material things can always be replaced.”
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said that they were alerted to the robbery on Saturday (April 6), and are investigating.
Celebrity home break-ins are unfortunately nothing new. In February, Jada Pinkett Smith was reportedly home when two men climbed onto the balcony of her Los Angeles home.
Two men wearing hoodies reportedly made their way to the balcony before trying to get inside the home around 8:00 p.m. that night. They reportedly thought no one was home, however, they dipped after Jada Pinkett Smith spotted them.
Authorities weren’t sure if it was random or if the actress was targeted. It doesn’t appear that anyone has been arrested yet.
