Pop star Britney Spears is (almost) a single woman!
As we previously reported, In August of last year, Sam Asghari, 30, shocked many by filing for divorce after 14 months of marriage. While he did cite “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup, rumors surrounding their split claimed things ended for more serious reasons. One allegation was that Britney Spears had become physically violent toward the fitness trainer. There were also whispers that Britney Spears cheated on her ex. However, neither party has weighed in on the DV or infidelity speculations.

According to a new report from TMZ, the former love birds recently filed a stipulated judgment, which is basically an agreement that operates to settle the divorce case. The judge is expected to sign off soon, making Britney single once again. As far as what Sam Asghari will walk away with from the “Toxic” singer, well, it’s looking like not much. He purportedly signed an ironclad prenup before they married. There were rumors he planned on contesting the legal document, but that seemingly didn’t happen.
However, it’s important to note that Britney didn’t leave Sam high and dry. After he left their marital home, she allegedly covered the bill for his new place.
