Update #3 (May 3, 2024 3:24PM ET): Britney Spears’ mother has confirmed she’ll support her daughter after the singer claimed her mother was “involved” in the drama she had at a hotel earlier this week.

Spotted at LAX, Lynne Spears was asked if she “will always be there no matter what” for the troubled singer, and she nodded “yes,” according to The Daily Mail.

Update (May 3, 2024 8:57AM ET): Britney Spears is pointing the finger at her mom after it was reported that she was in a heated physical attraction with her boyfriend.

In an Instagram post shared late Thursday night (May 2), the “Lucky” singer posted a video of a bruised ankle, stating that she sprained it after trying “to do a leap” and falling in the living room.

“I fell, embarrassed myself. Paramedics came to my door illegally, of course, caused this huge scene which was so unnecessary. All I needed was ice.”

She followed it up with more footage of her bruise.

In the caption, she called out her mother Lynne Spears and wrote,

“I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it ??????? !!! Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!”

In a previous post, she also alleged paramedics arrived at her door “illegally” and declared she was “moving to Boston.”

Original Story (May 2, 2024): Britney Spears had a tough time last night.

According to a report from TMZ, Wednesday night (May 1), the Grammy Award winner had an explosive fight with her boyfriend Paul Soliz that left bystanders wondering if Britney Spears is mentally sound. The dispute, which reportedly turned physical, occurred at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California. It’s unclear how the night initially started to go south, however, a woman reportedly called authorities, informing them that someone they believed to be the “Womanizer” artist was harassing and threatening staff and guests.

Police purportedly showed up after 10:30 PM, but once they arrived on the scene they saw no issues, so they left. They probably should have stuck around a little longer, however, as things apparently only got worse from there. Sources said Britney Spears and her reported bae took their partying back to their suite where they continued drinking the night away. And at some point, they got into a physical altercation. Guests were allegedly able to hear the dispute as witnesses claimed Britney was screaming and “out of control.”

Several bystanders feared the celeb was experiencing a mental breakdown and paramedics were called.

Paparazzi documented the aftermath, capturing an emotional Britney walking out of the hotel with a pillow and blanket wrapped around herself. In the end, she left the hotel with her security team and not the paramedics. Paul Soliz didn’t head out with her, according to the report.
