Real Housewives Of Potomac’s Nneka Ihim Confirms Exit After 1 Season, Says She Is Focused On ‘Expanding My Family’
Nneka Ihim is not returning to Real Housewives of Potomac, she confirmed.
The news comes about a month after theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported that she was let go after one season.

Nneka Ihim told People Magazine on Monday (May 13),
“I will not be returning for season 9 of RHOP.”
She cited her motherhood journey, which she shared on the Bravo reality series, as a reason why.
“At this point, after multiple failed fertility procedures, I have decided to make expanding my family my ultimate priority. Thank you to the fans that have supported me along the way this season, especially regarding my difficult IUI turned IVF journey, and the stigma surrounding infertility. All of the kind remarks have genuinely kept me uplifted and have fueled my determination to continue to share my story.”

She said she has “sincere appreciation to Bravo and Truly Original for the opportunity,” adding that she has
“built lifetime friendships with some incredible women through this experience.”
“As a true resident of Potomac proper, 20854, just know that I’ll be seeing you all again soon.”
She is now the third person to leave the show following its recent eighth season.
Robyn Dixon also confirmed her exit recently. theJasmineBRAND also first broke that story last month.

Robyn Dixon, who was a staple on the reality show since season 1, said of her exit on her Reasonably Shady podcast April 15,
“Yes, I will not be returning for season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugar-coat the situation the situation and say, ‘Ooh I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This is a network decision.”
She continued,
“I’m okay with it because nothing lasts forever. I’ve had a very long run on the show, and I just really appreciate that time and the opportunity that I had on the show. Thank you to the fans who have watched us from day 1. I do want to especially thank all of the fans and viewers who have supported me, showed loved to me. Whether you directly sent me love or you prayed for me or you have positive thoughts around me, I appreciate you. And I hope I inspired you the viewers, the fans, to live your life authentically. To not feel pressure to change for anyone, or impress people, and just to be yourself.”
Candiace Dillard Bassett was the first cast member to reveal they were not returning. She joined the show in season 3, and announced she was leaving in March.
