He first wrote,

“9 yrs without Sex? F that BS. Weirdo sh*t.”

Although Lenny Kravitz didn’t specify how long he’s been celibate, he did note in a recent interview that he has not been in a serious relationship for nine years.

Original Story (May 30, 2024): Iconic rocker Lenny Kravitz, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday, opened up about his love life, revealing his current commitment to celibacy and a decade-long break from serious relationships.

In a candid interview with The Guardian published on Thursday, May 30, Lenny Kravitz disclosed that he hasn’t been in a significant relationship for nine years and has chosen to remain celibate until he finds the right partner.

Regarding his celibacy journey, he stated,

“Yes. It’s a spiritual thing.”

The singer also expressed his desire to be in a relationship right now, but thinks he might struggle, mentioning:

“I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live.”

This declaration reflects similar sentiments he shared back in 2008 when he discussed an initial commitment to celibacy until marriage. In an interview with Maxim, he explained,

“Where I’m at in life, the women have got to come with something else, not just the body, but the mind and spirit … It usually trips them out, but that’s the way it’s going to be.”

This insight sheds light on Kravitz’s romantic journey, which includes a high-profile marriage to actress Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993, with whom he shares a daughter, Zoë Kravitz.
