Kim Porter’s Dad Breaks Silence On Video Of Diddy Attacking Cassie: ‘I Wouldn’t Even Do A Dog Like That’

Another person has spoken out against Diddy and his brutal attack on Cassie.

As reported, disturbing footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs beating his then-girlfriend/artist Cassie, real name Casandra Ventura, in a hotel hallway back in 2016 was obtained and published by CNN last month. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the father of the late Kim Porter spoke on the video and the record executive’s relationship with his daughter. Jake Porter said,

“You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that. It was despicable.”

He continued,

“I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.”

When asked if he ever saw Diddy physically abuse his daughter in a similar way during their extended relationship, Jake Porter said “no,” however, he alluded to there being some form of abuse by adding not “to that extent.” He also noted the “horrible” footage “made me wonder.”

In addition, he said that he has a “different outlook” on Diddy and added,

“I imagine it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie.”

Diddy and Kim Porter dated on and off for years, starting their relationship in 1994 and officially ending things in 2007. They welcomed three kids together: Christian (aka King Combs) in 1998, and twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James in 2006. Diddy also played a hand in raising Kim’s son with Al B. Sure!, Quincy Brown. In 2018, Kim passed away from lobar pneumonia

According to Jake Porter, his daughter loved Diddy but she “just couldn’t live with” him in the same house. He continued,

“I think he was a very jealous person.”

And finished with,

 “They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate. Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love, you know what I mean? I really don’t think he has any idea what love is.”
