Naomi Campbell Confirms She Welcomed Her 2 Children Through A Surrogate
Naomi Campbell is opening up her journey to motherhood.
The supermodel, who welcomed a daughter in 2021 and her second child, a son, last year, confirmed to The Times recently that “I did” welcome both children via a surrogate.
She continued,
“My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future. I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.”
She noted that she’s satisfied as a single mom and sent a message to young women who say it’s “too expensive” to have children.
“I have said, ‘You will change your mind. You will want to be a mum.’ I understand economically it is tough. But my mum had nothing and she made it work. It’s worth it. It is so amazing.”
In the meantime, Naomi Campbell has remained private about her little ones, and have yet to share their faces on social media.
Back in 2022, Naomi Campbell clarified that she didn’t adopt her daughter, telling Vogue,
“She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child.”
She added,
“I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
After noting that she’d raise her daughter traditionally, as her grandmother did with her, Naomi Campbell added,
“My daughter comes first. Everything I do, I do for her – that’s it. It’s so completely selfless, isn’t it?”
