Actress Tori Spelling Reacts To Fans Saying ‘She Looks Like A White Wendy Williams’: ‘Can’t Unsee It!’
Tori Spelling recently responded to the comments she received about her looks.
During the latest episode of the 51-year-old’s misSPELLING podcast, Tori Spelling reacted to some of the most common comments she receives from fans. Noting that she’s one to take a joke, the actress shared,
“You can ask me anything. You can say anything, pretty thick skin. I do read the comments — look at me, I’m human. I can feel them, but I can also have a good sense of humor about them.”
While looking at the commentary during the episode, a producer read out a comment that said,
“She looks like a white Wendy Williams.”
Seemingly unfazed by the popular saying, Tori Spelling responded to her comparison to the former talk show host and said,
“So a lot of people have written that comment, and I actually think Wendy Williams is very pretty. She hasn’t been very kind to me in the past, but she is a pretty woman and I feel bad for her situation. But I feel like commenting on that, you’ll never be able to unsee it.”
She continued,
“Once that comment was made, I was like, ‘Huh?’ And then I was like, ‘Oh, can’t unsee that!'”
Elsewhere in the episode, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star mentioned she’s also often compared to “White Chicks” characters Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans, where the two Black men transform themselves into blonde, white women.
Reiterating the comment, Spelling said,
“‘She looks like Marlon and Shawn Wayans in disguise in the movie White Chicks,’ and I’m like, ‘Fair.'”
