Playboi Carti’s Artist Destroy Lonely Denies Abuse Allegations From Ex-Girlfriend: ‘Everybody Know The True Story’

Rising rap star Destroy Lonely is rebutting allegations of abuse.

The Atlanta native denied attacking his ex-girlfriend after she came forward recently, detailing their alleged violent altercations.

The situation began unfolding after a woman, who goes by the X (formerly Twitter) handle @ayishamia, claimed that she previously dated and was assaulted by Destroy Lonely. She alleged in since-deleted posts that the 22-year-old, real name Bobby Sandimanie III, abused her on multiple occasions, writing in one post: 

“Cracked my head open in Germany after pushing me into a bed fram and then threw all my sh*t in the hallway ….. all because i was tired and didn’t want to get up at that exact second to roll a blunt”

She added in another:

“On HIS birthday last I wore a white dress for HIM. He loved it. Then the second we get around carti he go tell me I embarrass him Im wore that dress so carti could see my p***y then called me a wh*re about it for months. N*gga you are embarrassing tf”

And later followed up with:

“Broke up with him cause the second to last time we were together he had a knife in his hand Infront of everyone we knew and said word for word ‘Imma kill this b**ch’ and we were apart for 3 months after.”

The woman continued sharing more instances of Destroy Lonely’s alleged abuse towards her during their 1+ year of dating, claiming he once slapped her in an Uber and attempted to isolate and manipulate her. Additionally, she accused him of having secret animosity towards some of his musical colleagues such as Don Toliver. In case you’re unfamiliar, Destroy Lonely is signed to Playboi Carti’s Opium Records, a subset of Interscope Records, and had a huge year last year with his debut album If Looks Could Kill reaching #18 on Billboard’s 200 chart.

Responding to the ex-girlfriend’s claims, Destroy Lonely reversely accused her of being abusive, writing:

“H**s Mad…everybody know the true story not doing no clout cap for u.”

And adding in a follow-up post:

“B***h beat on me 1000 times wanna post a fake a** injury. Never cracked nobody skull ask my manager. “

He went on to claim that “everybody who know me in real life know this aint facts,” and made it clear he doesn’t intend to “prove” himself to anyone. Both the woman and Destroy Lonely have appeared to cleanse their feeds of the discussion at the time of this writing.
