Update: ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ Star Keke Jabbar Died Of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning After Falling Asleep In Her Car, Friend Says
Update (July 4, 2024): A friend of late Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Keke Jabbar is sharing details surrounding her death.
In a video published shortly after Keke Jabbar’s death was announced on Tuesday (July 2), YouTuber JoAnn Jenkins first shut down speculation on how the reality star died.
“Keke did not overdose, Keke did not take her own life. Keke loved life. Keke was not ready to leave life. She wasn’t ready to leave her children, her husband or her family.”
During her time on LAMH, Keke Jabbar often opened up about her past struggle with drug abuse.
Giving insight into Jabbar’s final moments, JoAnn Jenkins said she often would “go to sleep wherever” when she was extremely tired. After seeing her sisters, JoAnn Jenkins said Jabbar,
“Left her sisters about four in the morning.”
Added Jenkins:
“Last night, she turned her car off and she fell asleep. Her car was not functioning [and there] was something already wrong with her car.”
She went on to share what she said was an “official statement from her mother”:
“So, seven-something this morning, her husband goes to the garage. He sees Keke, what he thinks is asleep in the car. He tries to get her attention. He opens [the car] up. She isn’t breathing. Her husband, her life partner, her best friend tried to bring his wife back, the mother of his children, and he couldn’t … Keke passed from carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That is all.”
Jenkins continued,
“My sister didn’t want to leave this Earth, she didn’t want to leave her kids. She didn’t want to leave her husband. There was no turmoil going on in her life. She had a lot of great things to look forward to.”
