‘Charmed’ Star Shannen Doherty Finalized Divorce Terms One Day Before Her Death, Awarded Malibu Home & Various Cars

Shannen Doherty, known for her roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed, finalized her divorce just one day before her death from cancer at the age of 53.

The actress, who battled cancer for several years, passed away on Saturday, July 13th, surrounded by her loved ones.

Shannen Doherty was reportedly determined to officially end her marriage to Kurt Iswarienko, whom she married in 2011, before her passing.

According to sources, Shannen Doherty’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, worked tirelessly to settle the divorce terms in the last week of Doherty’s life, finalizing the terms on July 12th.

However, the judge did not sign off on the papers before the weekend, and by Monday, Doherty had passed away.

Despite this, a family law judge signed the divorce papers posthumously on July 15th, two days after Doherty’s death, officially entering the divorce judgment.

Under the terms of the settlement, Doherty received the Malibu residence, various cars, a Salvador Dalí painting, and other items, while Kurt Iswarienko was awarded an airplane, various cars, a Les Paul guitar, and other belongings.

Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. After going into remission in April 2017, her cancer returned in 2019. In 2020, she publicly announced her diagnosis of metastatic stage 4 cancer, and by June 2023, she revealed that the cancer had spread to her brain.
