Porsha Williams Slams Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia Over ‘False & Salacious’ Accusations Following Claims She Cheated w/ Future
Reality star Porsha Williams is denying many of the claims made by her former spouse, Simon Guobadia.
The Bravo starlet slammed the Nigerian businessman over what she said are “false” accusations, including insinuations that she had an affair with rap star Future.
In recent court documents obtained by In Touch, attorneys for Porsha Williams wrote that Simon Guobadia attempted to “cause irreparable harm” by making several “false and salacious” accusations against her amid their ongoing divorce. As previously covered, the entrepreneur demanded that Porsha Williams turn in text message conversations between herself and multiple men, namely rapper Future, suggesting that she was unfaithful during their 1-year marriage and violated the terms of their prenup.
However, Williams claimed there was no truth to the accusations and reversely argued that Guobadia’s continued court motions demanding she turn in more financial records was a violation of their prenup. You may recall that Guobadia has filed several complaints against Williams, accusing her of withholding information about her income relevant to their divorce case.
In response, Williams‘ lawyers wrote that the prenuptial agreement they signed prior to their 2022 wedding was put in place:
“to avoid contested and expensive litigation, including the costly and potentially intrusive discovery process, if an event of dissolution occurs.”
Adding that the document clearly states:
“serving, conducting, or attempting to serve or conduct, any discovery whatsoever, either upon/toward the other Party or upon/toward any other Party…[would constitute an] [e]ffor[t] to contest, challenge, or oppose the enforcement or adoption of th[e] Agreement.”
Williams and Guobadia are still attempting to hash out several discrepancies about the separation of their assets post-divorce. Included, is the question of who will remain in the marital home Guobadia purchased before their union, which Williams‘ has successfully argued was contracted to her in the prenup, though for a while she remained unable to film at the home.
It does not appear a judge has ruled on Williams’ recent motion at this time.
