Update (Aug. 19, 2024): Skai Jackson is in the clear. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office will not be charging Skai Jackson after she was arrested for domestic battery following an incident with her boyfriend.
Prosecutors have said there’s insufficient evidence to charge her, according to TMZ.
The D.A.’s Office said it has also considered that she has no criminal history. In addition, Tte alleged victim wasn’t injured and he doesn’t want to work with prosecutors.
Original Story (Aug. 13, 2024): Child star Skai Jackson has been arrested after an altercation with her boyfriend.
Per reports, local authorities were called after security saw her and her boyfriend allegedly getting into a fight while at Universal CityWalk in Orlando, Florida. She was allegedly seen pushing him multiple times.
She was taken into custody for misdemeanor domestic battery and received a citation before she was released a few hours later.
What’s interesting is that when officers arrived, Skai Jackson denied any confrontation with her boyfriend, and claimed that they were not only in love and engaged, but that she is pregnant with their first child.
However, officers looked at the surveillance footage and allegedly saw the actress pushing her boyfriend, whose identity hasn’t been made public.
The incident reportedly happened last week and the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office will decide if she will be charged.
