Jada Pinkett Smith has set her Instagram account to private after a mysterious post left fans speculating.

On Monday, September 2, the 52-year-old actress shared a thought-provoking quote on her page:

“A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone. And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told she MUST belong to someone or … she is not worthy.”

The post continued with a caption discussing the empowerment of women and the notion of worthiness, stating:

“We mere mortal women are worthy simply because we exist! … If we so CHOOSE to bond with someone from this space … we will erect monumental love and give birth to treasures.”

Just a day earlier, Jada Pinkett Smith also posted a carousel of photos marking the end of summer, including a selfie at the beach and a video of her riding a jet ski with an unidentified man.

Her caption read:

“Summer is coming to an end and my heart has been blooming in so many ways. Can’t wait to share. Till then… I’m just embracing the last of the summer vibez.”

The unidentified man in the photo is prompting speculation about the status of Jada Pinkett Smith’s relationship with her husband, Will Smith.
