The Weeknd Teases Fans w/ Cryptic Posts As He Announces New Album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’
The Weeknd is closing out his album trilogy with the announcement of his upcoming release, Hurry Up Tomorrow.
The pop star, also known as Abel Tesfaye, made the reveal on Instagram today, September 4, though a release date for the new album has yet to be announced.

The announcement teased the album with phrases like,
“More songs could help, but what do I have left to say? Woe is me in my gilded cage, right?”
This cryptic messaging has only fueled fan excitement, as they eagerly await a release date for the new project.
The forthcoming album will complete the trilogy that started with After Hours in 2020 and continued with Dawn FM in 2022, both of which received critical acclaim and commercial success. While Hurry Up Tomorrow is expected to achieve similar commercial success, it is unlikely to win any Grammys, as The Weeknd has vowed to boycott the awards show due to alleged corruption in its nomination process.

Until the album’s release, The Weeknd will perform a major one-off show in São Paulo on September 7, which will be streamed live on YouTube. Additionally, he will conclude his After Hours tour next month with two stadium shows each in Melbourne and Sydney.
