Diddy Is Reportedly Getting ‘Treatment & Therapy’ Amid Sex Trafficking & Racketeering Charges

Marc Agnifilo, attorney for Sean “Diddy” Combs, wants the world to know his client isn’t a bad guy.

Diddy will be located at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for the foreseeable future. The federal jail has seen a few celebs walk in, including R. Kelly and Fetty Wap. As reported, Diddy’s week started off rocky and Monday evening he was arrested while in New York. The following day, he was officially charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The “Act Bad” rapper pleaded not guilty.

During Diddy’s arraignment hearing, his attorney Agnifilo unsuccessfully attempted to get the judge to release the record executive on a $50 million bond.

According to Agnifilo, Diddy is in “treatment and therapy for things that most respectfully he needs treatment and therapy for and he’s getting that.”

The law professional continued,

“Mr. Combs is not a perfect person. There’s been drug use, there’s been toxic relationships – which I think were mutual in their toxicity as these things often are.”

He added that getting help “at the ripe age of 54” should be applauded.

Details of Diddy’s indictment were unsealed yesterday and the allegations mentioned still have the internet buzzing. Per the 14-page document, “for decades” Diddy “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”

He’s also accused of “creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

Diddy and his legal team are scheduled to appear in court today (Sept. 18) to appeal the bond denial.
