Octomom Nadya Suleman, Woman Who Gained Notoriety For Giving Birth To The First Surviving Octuplets In 2009, Is Now A Grandmother
Nadya Suleman has entered a new chapter of life—grandmotherhood.
The 49-year-old, known to the world as Octomom, shared the joyous news on Instagram, revealing that her son and daughter-in-law welcomed a baby girl on August 30.
In a heartwarming post, Nadya Suleman wrote,
“Thank you my son and my lovely daughter in law for giving us this beautiful gift! We are so blessed that she is a new addition to our family! Baby girl you are so very loved and we can’t wait to watch you grow!!”
This exciting announcement comes just a month after Nadya Suleman revealed that her 21-year-old son, Joshua, was expecting his first child.
On August 20, she posted a touching birthday tribute to him on Instagram, writing,
“Dear Joshua, I am so proud of the man you are becoming. You are smart, funny, hard working, loyal, humble, and now a devoted husband and soon to be father… Words cannot express how much I love and respect you. May God continue to protect and bless you abundantly!”
Suleman, who first made headlines in 2009 for giving birth to octuplets through in vitro fertilization (IVF), gained global attention and sparked widespread debates. Unmarried and unemployed at the time, and already a mother of six, her decision to have eight more children led to intense media scrutiny. However, her octuplets—now among the oldest living set in the world—have continued to keep her in the public eye.
