Chris Brown – Social Media Torn Over New Docu Highlighting His Domestic Violence Allegations
Social media is a bit torn over the Chris Brown documentary that will highlight alleged abuse claims.
Some believe he is innocent, while others question how people still support the singer. See some reactions below.
As previously reported, a documentary looking into the domestic violence allegations surrounding Chris Brown is in the works. The program comes from Investigation Discovery (ID), the same network behind the Nickelodeon child abuse exposé “Quiet on Set.”
According to the logline,
“Chris Brown: A History of Violence” will chart “Chris Brown’s past all the way back to his troubled childhood, explore the lasting impact of the cycle of abuse, and pose the question: how does a man with such a violent public record maintain his superstar status? With expert and cultural commentary layered throughout, the documentary provides thoughtful reflections into each survivor’s experience and the psychological destruction in the aftermath of their abuse.”
It will also include claims from a new accuser, whose identity is hidden, who says in the trailer,
“I have not spoken about this matter publicly, but that’s the only way he can be stopped.”
Chris Brown: A History of Violence drops on Oct. 27.
