Travis Kelce’s Ex Kayla Nicole Shares Why She Wouldn’t Speak To Him In Public: ‘We’re Both Aware Of The Nature Of His New Situation’
It looks like Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole doesn’t want to start any drama.
She appeared on WNBA star Angel Reese’s Unapologetically Angel podcast on Thursday, Oct. 10, and of course the topic of her and Travis Kelce’s previous relationship came up. The exes dated for five years before going their separate ways in 2022. Now, he’s been infamously dating Taylor Swift for over a year.
In fact, Kayla Nicole said the high-profile romance is one of the reasons she would most likely not speak to Travis Kelce if they saw each other in person. Asked if she and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end would speak if they saw one another, she said,
“I’d probably hit him with a head nod. That’s about it.”
She added,
“We’ve seen each other in public places but I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy. So we just keep it moving.”
After Angel Reese complimented that “she loved” Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole together, Kayla joked,
“It was a good time. It was great, he’s a great guy. That was a good time in my life…So many lessons learned.”
