NFL Star Travis Kelce’s Ex Kayla Nicole Says She Is Out Of The Athlete Stage & Prefers To Date A Man In A Position Of Power

Kayla Nicole is not interested in dating another athlete after failed relationship with NFL tight end Travis Kelce. 

Kayla Nicole recently revealed that she is steering away from professional athletes and setting her sights on men in positions of power. The social media influencer sat down with the hosts of the Behind the Likes podcast for a candid interview where no topic was off the table, including Kayla Nicole’s dating preference after ending her five-year on-and-off relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. 

When asked if she would date another athlete, Kayla briefly paused to consider the question before responding, 

“I’ll never say never, but I fully, wholeheartedly believe that I am out of the athlete stage.”

She continued, 

“I do think that I am attracted to men in positions of power, and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me.”

She added, 

“I would love to date an executive of a record label or a movie producer so that we can go to the sporting events. Let date night be courtside at the Laker game; that’s my kind of guy.”

Kayla also noted some pitfalls of dating men who play sports, including a hectic lifestyle and the flexibility required to adjust to your partner’s schedule because their career takes priority. 

Neither Kayla nor Kelce have shared why they ended their relationship indefinitely in 2023. However, they both shot down rumors that the athlete was extremely frugal and forced the model to pay for half of everything during their courtship. Kelce rebutted, 

“Don’t buy into that s**t. “I would never say that I was supporting her. She had a very financially stable life and what she was doing in her career. But you’ve got to be crazy if you’d think I would never help or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food. We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about.” 

Kayla added, 

“Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false.”

Despite the influx of negative comments she’s received since her famous ex’s confirmed romance with pop star Taylor Swift, Kayla is not entirely opposed to the idea of dating another athlete and confirmed that she is more ready now to be a wife or a mother, stating, 

“When I meet the right person, I’m not starting from scratch, but I’m starting from like this developed, evolved, confident, self-assured version of myself, and I’m more ready now to be a wife or a mother.”

Reportedly, Kayla made it clear she still wants a guy with a lot of zeros in his bank account.
