Soulja Boy Demands Ex-Girlfriend Suing Him For Assault Submit To Mental Exam

Soulja Boy Demands Ex-Girlfriend Suing Him For Assault Submit To Mental Exam
Soulja Boy wants the ex-girlfriend suing him for assault to undergo a mental examination.
In court documents obtained by In Touch, the 34-year-old’s lawyers argued that the exam is pertinent to the case as the victim, going by Jane Doe in the suit, claims she suffered severe psychological turmoil as a result of her years-long romance with the rapper.
The motion reportedly read:
“[Doe] also testified that she had undergone multiple abortions, but could not recall how many or where they occurred. [Doe] also stated that she has been suffering with anxiety that developed throughout her relationship with [Soulja], and the defense needs to conduct an Independent Mental Examination of [Doe] in order to properly evaluate her mental health and assess the claims being made.”

It added:
“the need for a mental examination is particularly relevant because [Doe] has indicated in her testimony that she has experienced anxiety and other psychological issues stemming from the alleged incidents and relationship with [Soulja]. The examination will allow [Soulja’s] expert to evaluate the extent of these claims, providing critical information regarding the validity of the claim as well as the impact of the alleged emotional distress on [Doe’s] life.”
As you may recall, Jane Doe filed her suit back in 2021, alleging that Soulja Boy would often become violent and irate during their relationship and allegedly caused her multiple abortions due to his physical abuse.
Soulja Boy, who was previously convicted of assaulting and kidnapping another of his exes, has vehemently denied the claims. Jane Doe is suing for $10 million in damages.
