Rosie O’Donnell Speaks Out Following Daughter’s Arrest For Child Neglect & Drug Possession: ‘Sadly, This Is Not New’
Rosie O’Donnell is speaking out after her daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, was arrested on multiple felony charges, including drug possession and child neglect.
Taking to Instagram on October 19, Rosie O’Donnell shared a family update, saying,
“Chelsea is in the news today. This is a photo from a better time. Here is the family comment: Sadly, this is not new for our family. Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade. We are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease.”
Chelsea O’Donnell , 27, was arrested on October 14 and charged with several counts, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer. This follows an earlier charge in September for maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, and domestic abuse.
She is set to appear in court on November 7.
