NYC Jail Housing Diddy Target Of ‘Interagency Operation,’ Feds Say
The Metropolitan Detention Complex in Brooklyn where Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held is at the center of an “interagency operation.”
The Federal Bureau of Prisons told CBS News in a statement the operation was,
“designed to achieve our shared goal of maintaining a safe environment for both our employees and the incarcerated individuals housed at MDC Brooklyn.”
The statement added there is no active threat at the facility.

Reportedly, the sweep was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General, and other law enforcement agencies.
Diddy is behind bars for charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. His lawyers previously called his new living arrangements “horrific,” claiming the jail is “not fit for pre-trial detention.”
A source previously gave PEOPLE an inside scoop on how the jailed record exec is being treated and said,
“[Combs] is being treated like any other detainee awaiting trial. As with all public figures in his position, he was placed on suicide watch upon admittance to the facility as a precaution.”
So far, Diddy’s attempts at bail have been denied.
