Update: Gisele Bündchen Informed Tom Brady & Their Children Of Her Pregnancy Ahead Of the Media

Update #1: Gisele Bündchen wanted to ensure that Tom Brady would not learn about her pregnancy with another man’s child from the news. To prevent this, she informed her ex-husband about her pregnancy before the media caught wind of it.

Sources told TMZ that Gisele shared the news with Tom and their two children that she was expecting a baby with Joaquim Valente before it became public knowledge. It is unclear how long Tom and their children have known about Gisele’s pregnancy; however, as we reported on Monday, she is at least halfway through her pregnancy.

The 44-year-old supermodel is expecting her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, 35. Gisele is already a mom to Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady, 47.

Confirming the exciting news to PEOPLE, a source close to Gisele said,

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

Gisele and Tom split in 2022 and finalized their divorce in March 2023. Later that year in June, she confirmed her relationship with Joaquim following rumors that she moved on to the jiu-jitsu instructor.
