Martha Stewart’s ex-husband, Andy Stewart, and his third wife, Shyla Nelson Stewart, are upset with Martha Stewart for allegedly using her new Netflix documentary to “relitigate” their troubled marriage, which ended over 30 years ago. In a Facebook post, the couple described Andy’s marriage to Martha as “painful and abusive” and criticized the “sensationalized” portrayal in the trailer. Andy reportedly feels Martha is “stalking” him by drawing attention to their past and believes she should move on with her life.
In the documentary, Martha states,
“If you’re married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he’s a piece of s–t. But I couldn’t walk away.”
In their Facebook post, Andy and Shyla note how happy they are in their current union, with their “deep and everlasting love.” They wed on a Vermont mountaintop in 2016. He hasn’t spoken to Martha in 20 years.
