Metro Boomin Says His ‘Personal Issue That Really Hurt Me’ Sparked His Feud w/ Drake

Metro Boomin is opening up about the Drake feud and his beef with the rapper.

During his recent GQ Magazine spread, he shared:

“Me and [Drake], we had a personal issue, and for the record, not over no girl or nothing silly like that. It was a personal issue that really hurt me and disappointed me.”

Metro Boomin added,

“But if you take all the rap entertainment out of it, it’s like, have you ever been real cool with somebody, and y’all fell out over something? It happens every day. It’s just regular sh*t. This just happens to have an audience.”

It’s unknown what exactly happened, but the men exchanged shots with one another in the months following “Like That” with Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, and Future.
