Shannon Sharpe & Chad Ochocinco Weigh In On Kendrick Lamar’s Claim That Rappers Didn’t Congratulate Him On Super Bowl Gig
Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco are speaking out after Kendrick Lamar’s recent comments about the lack of support he’s received following the announcement that he’ll be headlining the Super Bowl 2025 halftime show.
In his new song “Wacced Out Murals,” Kendrick raps,
“Won the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me.”

Chad Ochocinco interpreted the lyric as Kendrick’s way of saying that many in the rap game didn’t acknowledge the work it took for him to land the spot.
Given Lil Wayne’s interest in the Super Bowl gig and the ongoing feud between Kendrick and Drake, Chad emphasized that all three are vital to the culture and should put their beef aside.
