‘Scrubs’ Reboot In The Works At ABC

‘Scrubs’ Reboot In The Works At ABC
Another classic sitcom has been revived.
According to reports, the 2000s medical comedy series Scrubs is gearing up to make a return! The show is reportedly in the early stages of development at ABC with the help of series creator Bill Lawrence. Back in 2022, during an ATX Festival panel, Lawrence addressed fans who have been begging for a reboot or revival of Scrubs and said,
“We’re gonna do it, you guys know. If you ever have an excuse to work with people you want to spend time with anyway, run to it.”

The series first aired in 2001 and lasted for 9 seasons. Viewers quickly became obsessed with quirky John Michael “J.D.” Dorian (portrayed by Zach Braff) and his best friend Christopher Turk (portrayed by Donald Faison) as they tackled the ins and outs of being new doctors at Sacred Heart Hospital.
No word just yet on the reboot’s plot or who (if anyone) from the original cast has signed on.
