Forbes Breaks Down Jay-Z’s PR Strategy In Statement Denying Sexu@l Ass@ult Allegations
Quick recap: Jay-Z was named in a civil lawsuit alongside Diddy from a woman claiming the men r@ped her in 2000 when she was 13. Once the suit became public, Jay-Z quickly vehemently denied the allegations and called out the attorney of the alleged victim, Tony Buzbee, for “blackmail” in a released statement.
In part, he said,
“What [Buzbee] had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”
In a recently published article, Forbes broke down Jay-Z’s statement and his “calculated PR strategy.”
