Jamie Foxx Jokes About Diddy ‘M#rder Attempt,’ Conspiracies, & Freak-Offs In New Comedy Special

Jamie Foxx had some fun addressing wild internet conspiracies in his latest Netflix comedy special.

The Oscar-winning actor tackled rumors that hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was somehow behind his near-death experience last year, joking:

“The internet said Puffy was trying to kill me, that’s what the internet was saying. I know what you’re thinking, ‘Diddy?’”

Foxx then threw in a playful reference to Combs’ infamous “freak-off” events and added:

“Hell, no, I left those parties early. I was out by 9 p.m. because something didn’t look right. It’s slippery in here.”

While Foxx was cracking jokes, the rumors he addressed weren’t entirely baseless. As reported, Diddy is currently facing serious legal trouble. The music mogul is awaiting trial, set for May 2025, on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. According to reports, he’s accused of coercing women (and men) into participating in sex parties, and prosecutors say police found items linked to these alleged events—such as drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant—during raids at Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year.

As for Foxx’s health scare, he also clarified in his stand-up that his 2023 hospitalization was due to a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke and was not the result of an assassination attempt by Diddy.

As he recalled the experience, Foxx took one more jab at Diddy and stated:

“Your life doesn’t flash before your face. It was kind of oddly peaceful. I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light. I was in that tunnel, though. It was hot in that tunnel. S***, am I going to the wrong place in this mother——?”

Foxx jokingly added,

“Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil, like, ‘Come on.’ Or is that Puffy [Diddy]? I’m f——g around.”
