Disney+ Pulls Transgender Storyline From Upcoming ‘Win Or Lose’ Series
Disney has removed a transgender storyline from Pixar’s upcoming animated series Win or Lose.
The series, which follows a middle school softball team, originally planned to include a transgender character. However, Disney decided to alter the plot, removing a few lines referencing gender identity.
A spokesperson explained,
“When it comes to animated content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline.”

Although some changes were made, the spokesperson also noted that the character would still remain in the series, which is set to debut on Disney+ in February 2025.
