Jodie Turner-Smith Demands Over $30K In Child & Spousal Support From Joshua Jackson, Accuses Him Of Breaking Promise To Support Her If She Became A Single Black Mother
Jodie Turner-Smith is asking the court to order her estranged husband, Dawson’s Creek actor Joshua Jackson, to begin paying child and spousal support.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the actress, who married Joshua in 2019, claims her estranged husband broke his promise to financially support her and their 4-year-old daughter, Juno, in the event of a separation. A recently filed motion claims:
“[Joshua] promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother.”
