Tia Mowry Speaks On ‘Mix Of Emotions’ Surrounding Co-Parenting During The Holidays Following Cory Hardrict Split
The holidays can be an emotional time of year.
In a recent IG post, beloved actress Tia Mowry opened up about what her holiday season looks like as a single mother co-parenting. As reported, Tia and fellow actor Cory Hardrict announced they separated after 14 years of marriage in 2022 and finalized their divorce in April 2023. They share two children, Cree, 13, and daughter Cairo, 6.
In her Christmas post with her children reflecting on what her family now looks like, Tia wrote:
“Co-parenting during the holidays is a journey—one that’s filled with a mix of emotions. It’s different, and yes, it can feel challenging and even lonely at times, especially when you’re adjusting to a new family dynamic.”

She added,
“I’ll admit, as a single mom, I sometimes feel the weight because our family doesn’t look like others. But you know what? That’s okay. Different doesn’t mean less than. The most important thing is keeping the traditions alive for my children—because no matter how it looks, we are still family.”
