Marlon Wayans Calls California Wildfires A ‘Rebirth’
Marlon Wayans is finding a deeper meaning in the devastating California Wildfires.
The actor shared a striking photo of the Hollywood sign surrounded by flames and wrote,
“Wow, this image got me thinking spiritually. To all my friends, family, executives, agents, managers crew members… this ain’t Hollywood burning, it’s a rebirth. This is rinsing our souls of all the devastation we have endured over the past five years. Covid, strikes, fires, etc. This is the moment we come together as an entertainment community.”

He also offered words of encouragement to those directly impacted by the fires, which have burned over 27,000 acres and displaced tens of thousands in Los Angeles:
“To all my friends that have lost their homes [SIC] I am saddened yet happy that you have your LIVES. These things are replaceable but life is not. Big hugs and love.”
