Lil Kim Addresses Backlash Over Controversial ‘Monsoon’ Post To Help L.A. Wildfires: ‘What’s The Issue?’

Lil Kim is responding to backlash from her recent post about the California wildfires.

In a response shared on X, Kim clarified her intentions, writing:

“What’s happening is devastating, and what LA really needs right now is rain—so what’s the issue? Doesn’t everyone understand that a monsoon is heavy rain?”

Following Kim’s initial post, critics were quick to call her out, arguing that wishing for a monsoon could bring further disaster to those already suffering from the fires. It seems that Kim was simply hoping for some rain to come and help those struggling through this unfortunate situation.
