Wendy Williams’ Family Reportedly Feels ‘Guilty’ Over Her Condition, Wants To ‘Do More’
Wendy Williams’ family is feeling guilty over her condition and is challenging her court-appointed guardianship.
An Insider told In Touch,
“Wendy’s under strict guardianship with little contact with the outside world, and her relatives are fretting over what they can do to change things. They’re getting louder in their opposition and challenging the rules.”

The source added,
“There’s a strong sense of guilt within the family that it’s gotten this bad and they want to be able to do more for her. Their hands are tied until the court decides to change things, but they’re praying that it will happen sooner rather than later.”
Wendy has been under a court-ordered guardianship since May 2022 while facing multiple health challenges. Although her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, described her as “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,” Wendy’s family and friends have publicly disputed this. They’ve joined her on a press tour to speak out against the guardianship, with a GoFundMe launched to help cover legal costs in the ongoing fight.
