Kevin Hart Becomes CEO Of His Entertainment Company After Losing 2 CEOs in 15 Months
Kevin Hart is stepping up as CEO of his entertainment company, Hartbeat Productions, after the company experienced a whirlwind of executive changes.
According to Bloomberg, the actor and comedian is now leading the company as its third CEO in just 15 months, following the amicable departures of Jay Levine, the former CEO, along with the CFO and chief content officer.

Levine, who was appointed in early 2024 to help overhaul the company’s deals and stabilize its finances, left less than a year later after disagreements about the company’s direction. This executive shakeup follows the company’s recent layoffs of over 20 employees before Thanksgiving.
As Hartbeat navigates rocky times, Hart continues to thrive as a media entrepreneur, overseeing ventures like Laugh Out Loud and partnerships with major brands such as Lyft and Procter & Gamble.
