Skai Jackson’s Baby Daddy Still Behind Bars After Actress Welcomes Their 1st Child

Disney alum Skai Jackson celebrated the birth of her first child, Kasai, over the weekend—but the baby’s father, Deondre Burgin, missed the milestone due to serving time in an Ohio jail.

Deondre Burgin has been incarcerated since November for violating parole from a prior juvenile case involving theft and weapons charges.

Set to be released in February, he may soon meet his child—if the relationship remains cordial. Meanwhile, sources close to Skai Jackson report she is thrilled with motherhood and committed to balancing work and parenting, despite her past domestic dispute with Deondre Burgin. Both have since moved forward positively.
