Simon Guobadia Says Defamation Case Against His Estranged Wife Porsha Will Proceed
Simon Guobadia isn’t backing down from his legal battle with Porsha Williams.
The entrepreneur took to Instagram to share an update on the defamation lawsuit he filed against his estranged wife. Simon Guobadia, who claims Porsha Williams defamed him in social media posts that mentioned erectile dysfunction, revealed that a judge has denied her motion to dismiss the case.
He wrote,
“Motion by Defendant to dismiss Federal Defamation Lawsuit – DENIED. Case must now move forward to full litigation.”
Expressing gratitude for the court’s decision, Simon Guobadia added,
“I’m thankful that the Federal Court deemed it proper that I be given an opportunity to be heard, to have my day in court. I invite you to join in gaining knowledge and understanding that social media and the internet does not automatically grant you a forum to be reckless in what you say or do.”
It looks like this legal battle is just getting started, with Simon Guobadia stating,
“We are just at the beginning of a tedious court process of extensive litigation. Stay tuned!”
