A$AP Rocky’s trial is moving quickly, with the prosecution resting its case on Day 8. The defense is expected to rest Monday (Feb. 10), bringing the trial closer to a verdict.

A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, is on trial for allegedly firing a gun at former friend A$AP Relli during a 2021 altercation in Los Angeles. Relli claims Rocky shot at him, but no one was injured.

The rapper was arrested in April 2022 at LAX and later charged with two counts of assault with a firearm. He has pleaded not guilty. The trial has included witness testimonies and surveillance footage as both sides dispute what led to the incident.
